Women in Green: Annex Judea and Samaria

By ARUTZ SHEVA

The Women in Green movement is calling on the Israeli government to immediately annex Judea and Samaria.

The call came in response to the application by the Palestinian Authority Thursday for status as a non-member observer state at the United Nations General Assembly.

In a statement sent to media, WIG spokespersons Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katsover quoted the founding prime minister of the Jewish State, David Ben Gurion, who said, “What’s important is not what the Nations say, but what the Jews do!”

Following the expected vote to approve the PA’s application on Thursday, the WIG movement “calls upon the Israeli government to respond with the immediate application of Israeli sovereignty over all Judea and Samaria,” they said.

“The movement is supporting this request with a massive media and public campaign headlined by the declaration that the application of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria is a necessary step. Nothing can be more authentic, Zionist, justified, and Jewish than such a move. The campaign incorporates a short film from the second conference for the application of sovereignty that was held this summer in Hevron, with the main statements by Minister Daniel Hershkowitz, MKs Elkin, Hotoveley, Regev, and Ariel, as well as public figures Geulah Cohen, Caroline Glick, Adv. Dafna Netanyahu, Adv. Itzik Bam, head of the Samaria Regional Authority Gershon Mesika, Yoram Ettinger, and Adv. Howard Grief,” they continued.

Katsover and Matar rejected the fear of a hostile international reaction to the act of applying sovereignty, as they recalled the international opposition that accompanied the application of Israeli sovereignty over greater Jerusalem and over the Golan Heights. They maintained that, “just as the international opposition passed then, so will it pass now.”

The two called upon activists to exert direct pressure on the Prime Minister’s Office with the demand to take steps to apply sovereignty as a response to the Palestinian move.

“The historical sites of the Jewish people are in danger, and we must systematically exert pressure on the Prime Minister to act in response to the UN resolution with the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria,” they said. “Two weeks ago we saw that Israel has advanced defensive means, but all of our sophisticated technology will be of no avail if we will not internalize that this is our land,” they added. “The war over the Land of Israel is a moral and justified one. We will win it. The command of the generations beats within us, and the voice of the L-rd, in our ears: ‘I will give this land to your offspring … and to your offspring after you for an everlasting possession.’”

  1. Please Mr. Netanyahu listen to the WIG and the Levy report who are in agreement that the time has come to annex Judea and Samaria. I am in agreement with those who say this should have been done back in 1967 when Israel took back the Temple Mount and foolishly allowed the Jordanians, whom they had defeated, and their representatives dominion over it. We have seen how that has worked out as well as the so-called Oslo peace accords and give back of Gaza and Ramallah etc. all in the name of a Peace that has never come. You know in your heart of hearts that they will continue to make their Hudna (lying) peace agreements only until they think they are strong enough to wipe Israel off the map. They have thrown Oslo out with their UN move and now is your opportunity to answer this by doing what should have been done a long time ago and Annex Judea and Samaria now. We are praying for you.

How can anybody doubt that JEWdia and Samaria, mentioned so many times in the Bible, be anything but Jewish land? The very ground on which Yeshua walked and did miracles is Jewish land. No amount of lies by Egyptians and Syrians who call themselves “pelestinians” changes the status quo. No amount of votes by that group of rogue nations called the UN, many of whom still practise slavery and have no democracy, can change the plans of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Read the book of Obadiah. It is as relevant today as it was way back. Israel will live! The REAL Messiah will return to a united Israel.

  4. ABsolutely seek annexation of Samari &Judea. Those two areas are vital to the Biblical/Judaism/Christian heritage. Realistically, Israel would likely have to fight a war, which would be very difficult for the reputation of Israel and the Jewish People. I’ve been there many times and can somewhat understand the difficulty in trying to have any kind of dialog.
    Shalom

Yes! Trust in your L–D and not any man or nation. Israel is G-d’s land
And you must not give it away or allow it to be taken from you. He is with you
And so are we who love the L–D.
    G-d bless you all
