How I wished that more Churches would read Romans 9 thru 12, I have been to few Churches in the past, and I have asked them to read those chapters but it never happened, what Root are they being fed from? Certainly not from the Root that Israel was fed from.....My children and I, now attend a Messianic Congregation and Yes! We are getting our Spiritual nurishment from Judaism as well! I love it!! We have the best of both! We are completed! Churches did not fullfilled our needs, I am Jewish, my husband is not, at times it is difficult as he doesn't understand the Jewish culture, he is Polish Catholic (not Roman Catholic) but they basically share the same belief system. How can a gentile be saved? 2000 years ago, that used to be the question of the day, now they want to know...how can a Jew be saved? from what? Judaism? why can't we have both? But we do, in Messianic/Judaism we do..Moshiach came to fulfill the law, not to abolish the law, without the law, we have no moral compass, Torah is my "fence" I feel secure in Torah, I know Torah is also written in my heart, yet I feel so much more liberated knowing what I can and can't do, the Law, (Torah) was given for our own good, so we could live longer, better and clean lives, nothing wrong with that! but somehow most of the Churches disagree with that, we are been called legalistic, they believe that G-d changed everything, we Jews believes! No Torah? Changing the Shabbat day?? None could be farther from the truth, we believe that Our G-d doesn't change, He is the same, yesterday, tomorrow and forever, therefore He didn't abolish Torah, "Not a Jot will be taking away from Torah until earth and heaven passes away", those are the words of Moshiach ....... :-) So until then, I will worship on Shabbat as well, (Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.) I will Cherish Torah as a jewel, in my heart and soul!! B'Shem! :-)
