May God Yet Bless America

Christian Americans, my friends over there tell me, are on the move. Like soldiers emerging shell-shocked from a battle where they have been bombarded with round after round of high explosive, they are starting to shake off the stupor created in the ten months since the US became the Obamanation.
Today is Thanksgiving. And today, as with Jacob and Esau in the womb, it appears as if two nations are struggling together inside the borders of that great country in a way some see as portending another civil war.
Millions are thanking Father God for founding and building and keeping and using America – a city set on a hill.
Millions of others are thanking mother nature; liberal humanism; their lucky stars; Hollywood – anything but the Creator – for the headway they have made in steering America away from its Christian roots, especially now that they have in the White House a man who champions their vision.
From the expressions of outrage, shock, anger and rejection that have come from enormous numbers of patriotic Americans these last months, it seems the Obama administration has most effectively employed political blitzkrieg against them. The president and his democrats on the hill have stunned and overwhelmed many.
Will they win, or will the very enormity of the negative impact they are making on their Christian countrymen generate a backlash strong enough to unseat them and to reverse the destructive policies they are trying to force upon America?
In Israel, we are watching keenly. Washington has been squeezing the Netanyahu government mercilessly to stop building homes for Jews in the Jews’ homeland. President Obama does not have many friends here.
And there are those of us who see the connection very clearly between the way America’s leaders deal with Israel and what happens internally in the United States.
I am a Christian with American roots going all the way back to the Mayflower. For years I have been concerned (for America’s sake, not only for Israel’s) about the ever-widening rift between these two countries. On my own, and with my family, I have traveled across the US to appeal to Christians not to allow their government to impose a “two state solution” upon the people of Israel. Still the attempt to do so continues; today more intensely than ever.
And yet, on this Thanksgiving, I thank God for America. I thank God for the enormous good America has contributed to mankind all across the globe, and for the many ways in which America has blessed Israel.
I thank God too that there ARE millions of God-fearing Americans who will not lie down and let their country be taken away from them. Together with non-American friends of the United States around the world I pray that God will remember what He has always purposed that country to be, that through His people He will move to roll back the darkness and restore His light from one side of America to the other.
It’s a big prayer, but it’s not too big.
As I finished writing this, a “US Warrior” in Augusta, GA, emailed me.
“This is running on all the blogs over here in America,” she said. “We are going to get our country back, very shortly! We are going to rally!”

On October 3, 1789 President George Washington released this proclamation:
By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.
Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor– and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.
Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be– That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks–for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation–for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his Providence which we experienced in the course and conclusion of the late war–for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed–for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted–for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.
And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions– to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually–to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed–to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shewn kindness unto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord–To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease of science among them and us–and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.
Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.
Two hundred and twenty years ago, the President of the United States wrote those words.
Untold numbers of American citizens are invoking them today.
May God hear the prayers of His people. May God bless them.
And may God YET bless the United States of America.
America, Jews, and Aliyah

AMERICA IN PROPHECY PART 6

The Aliyah of Jews from North America
The last happening in America that would certainly weaken us is the aliyah of Jews from America. Aliyah is the Hebrew word for “going up.” In the biblical context, it means “going up to the Land.”
In the Hebrew Bible, the One true God promised the covenant land as an eternal inheritance to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants. This promise was a sacred blood covenant that cannot be broken nor taken away and given to any other group such as the Christian church, the so-called Palestinians, etc. While the benefits of the covenant were conditional, the covenant itself is unconditional. Its fulfillment depended on the faithfulness of God to His covenant word. This means the promise of the covenant land as an inheritance is still in place today.
While Moses prophesied that the Jewish people would be scattered among the nations, be persecuted and few in number, he also said that the Lord would faithfully preserve a remnant of His covenant people down through the ages. Then at His own appointed time (the Time to Favor Zion), the Lord God of Israel would take His people from the nations and bring them back to their ancient covenant land—the Land of Israel.
Ezekiel spoke about the latter years of history when the Almighty would bring the Jews back to their covenant land and pour out His Spirit on them. This will be the greatest outpouring of the glory of God the world has ever seen. God’s covenant people will experience the fullest blessings of God’s presence which will also impact the whole world.
Ezekiel 39:28-29 reads, “then they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer. And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My spirit on the house of Israel, says the LORD God.”
Ezekiel writes that God will leave none of the Jewish people behind among the nations. It is the Lord’s plan to gather all the Jews back to their ancient land. Jewish leaders themselves acknowledge that their time among the Gentiles is over.
Of course this can be a frightening thought to the Jewish people who are so assimilated, particularly in America. But it is not time to be frightened. It is a time for hope for the Lord’s plans for the Jewish people are for good and not for evil. To our Jewish friends we say that the time of your suffering and persecution among the nations is over. Anti-Semitism will be no more. The glory of Adonai will be upon you in your own land. You will fulfill your destiny to be a light to the nations.
Because of violent anti-Semitism in Europe, Jews in France, and soon Great Britain, will make aliyah for Israel. The same is true for Central and South America. While America has been a great blessing for the Jewish people, that is rapidly coming to an end. We will see this change before our eyes in the next few years. And it will happen quickly.
The USA will be the last nation with a large population of Jews. The Lord is now calling them back to the land. Even though it is only a small number of several thousand, it is growing every year. The number will get larger and larger until it becomes a massive exodus of the Jewish people from North America. It is not a matter if this will happen, but when. It is already happening.
Somewhere in the process, Israel will fulfill her destiny as the head of nations. It is at this time that Zechariah 8:22-23 will be fulfilled, “Yes, many strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the tzitzit of a Jewish man, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ ”

Internal Enemies
The fourth possible reason for America being further weakened is attacks within our borders from our enemies. It was said in the past that America had two great friends, the Atlantic and the Pacific. The point of the comment was that America was protected from the wars in Europe by the oceans. That was before jet planes and suicide bombers.
The call of jihad from the radical Muslim terrorists is, “Today we fight the Saturday people, tomorrow the Sunday people.” Israel is the Saturday people who, for over 50 years, have experienced the front-line wrath of jihad because Israel lives in the neighborhood of the jihadists. On 9/11, the Sunday people (Christian America) were awakened to what Israel experiences everyday. The events of 9/11 changed the world and changed our way of life as Americans.
No matter how much we try – it is impossible to secure our borders. There is no way we can keep out terrorists that are coming into our country. Even worse, it seems our government is inviting them to live among us. And once in our country, it is relatively easy for determined terrorists to weaken America through more bombings. America is a big, easy target. It is not a matter of if we will have another 9/11, but when.
There are many terrorist “sleeper cells” already in America. They are not sleeping but are waiting for the right moment to activate their cell and cause great destruction. Included in this vast Islamic terrorist network are groups that are becoming household names such as Hamas, Al-Queda, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood and others. They all have the same goal which is the destruction of the “Great Satan” America. Some of these groups probably already have nuclear “suitcase bombs” that have been smuggled into the country. They only need to detonate one of these to bring America as we know it to an end.
In addition to this violent threat, there is also the internal threat of radical Muslims who have infiltrated every aspect of our society including our military, our political organizations, our prison systems, our homeland security, our universities, our business, etc. They operate under the cover of our political correctness, our freedom of speech, our generous laws of charitable giving, etc. to use their influence at the highest levels of American society.
External Enemies
A fifth event that could dramatically weaken America is an external attack from our enemies. Whenever possible, nations at war attack their enemies when they are perceived to be weak internally. If America has an economic collapse as well as a continued moral collapse, our enemies will see this as an opportunity to attack us. But who would dare attack America – seeing that we are far superior militarily to any nation?
The answer is Russia and possibly a nuclear Iran. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Russia remained in tack with thousands of nuclear weapons. While they are weak economically and militarily, they are recovering and their nuclear weapons make them a threat to our survival.
Neither Russia nor Vladimir Putin is our friend. Russia is actively working to arm Syria and Iran with nuclear weapons because they want to reassert their influence in the Middle-East. Russian nuclear scientist and technicians are in Iran and Syria assisting them in developing weapons of mass destruction with Israel as the target. Russia is building a modern naval base in Syria to be operated by Russians. They have attack submarines deployed off our East and West coasts armed with enough fire power to destroy America. Now they have an open invitation to our backyard from their new friend in Venezuela.
Most Bible scholars believe Ezekiel 38-39 is talking about Russia as the nation that will lead an end-time confederation against Israel. I believe this will be a Russian/Turkey/Iranian led coalition. At the time of that invasion, Ezekiel 39:6 says that “fire will fall on those dwelling safely in the coastlands.” I wonder who this could be. Who do you think the prophet is speaking about? The Scripture could be referring to America. Whatever the details, I don’t believe the Almighty will allow Americans to go about their business as usual when Israel is being attacked. Do you?

God, America, and Natural Disasters

AMERICA IN PROPHECY PART 4

In part two, I stated my belief that there are six possible reasons that could cause the demise of America as the leading superpower of the world. The first reason which I discussed is economic collapse. America has gone from the greatest creditor nation in the world to the greatest debtor nation. Even as I write this, our economy is collapsing under the weight of our greed and debt. Without our economic power, America will no longer be a superpower.
In part three, I discussed the moral collapse of America. Moral collapse proceeds economic collapse. To review my comments, our founding fathers stated that the American democracy was designed for a moral people and would not survive unless there was a Judeo-Christian moral consensus of the citizens.
Our form of government was meant to be self-governing. But without Judeo-Christian morals to guide us and restrain us, we cannot govern ourselves. Our lack of restraint leads to lawlessness which causes the federal and state governments to pass more and more laws to control our behavior. As the government intrudes into more areas of our lives by passing more laws, our democracy gives way to a dictatorship and we lose our freedoms. This is taking place before our very eyes. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Natural DisastersA third danger that could weaken America is “natural disasters.” Is it just the fact that we have the Weather Channel telling us more than we used to know, or is America experiencing more natural disasters than anytime in its history?
There are so many natural disasters in America that one of the most popular TV programs is called, “Storm Stories.” We see the devastation caused by fires in the West, tornadoes in the Midwest and hurricanes and flooding in the Southeast. And we are all wondering when the “Big One” is going to hit California. Now we have always had the weather to contend with but not like today. We are having severe weather conditions in places where we have never before had them. It seems that nature itself is attacking America.
The whole world witnessed the destruction of New Orleans caused by Katrina. Regardless of the positive spin from the politicians, New Orleans will never fully recover from Katrina. It was a disaster on a scale of “biblical proportions” and could easily happen again. The city of Houston, TX housed and fed over 250,000 refugees from New Orleans, and many of them are still unsettled.
Shortly after Kartina, Hurricane Rita headed towards Houston. I live in Houston. Once again, the world was watching as a million people from the Houston area desperately trying to get out of town were stuck on Interstate 45 with no gas, no food, no water, overheated cars, crying babies, etc. Rita was a huge hurricane heading directly to Houston. It looked as if Interstate 45, which was supposed to be the escape route, was going to be coffin as it was right in the path of Rita.
It was only the mercy of God that Rita, ever so slowly, at the last moment, had landfall just to the East of Houston. Houston was only a prayer away from untold destruction and the loss of thousands of lives. Houston is the fourth largest city in America. Our country could not survive if Houston had experienced the same destruction of New Orleans.
Rita was followed by Hurricane Ike which was one of the worst storms in US history. It almost destroyed Galveston, the entire Gulf Coast and caused major damage to the greater Houston area. The city and surrounding area looked like a war zone. The wind and rain were so frightening that my wife slept in the closet to keep from hearing the noise. We were without power for a week.
Is the increase in weather activity a warning of the perfect storm to come? What do you think?
Someone from New Orleans asked a well-known Christian leader the question, “Where was God? Why did He allow this to happen?” The person gave a very wise answer and said, “We expelled God from school. We voted Him of our political system. We dismissed Him from our judicial system. We told Him we didn’t want Him involved in our lives. And we wonder why He allowed this? God doesn’t go where He is not wanted.”

God, America, and Morality

AMERICA IN PROPHECY PART 3

Moral collapse proceeds economic collapse. The great empires of history collapsed because of moral failures as much as they did from military defeats. America is the only nation in the history of nations that was birthed out of religious persecution and with a Judeo-Christian world-view and vision. It is this Judeo-Christian heritage that has made America great. I use the term Judeo-Christian because without the Judeo there would be no Christian. The Pilgrims and Puritans came to America because of religious persecution by the State Church of England. They were godly people who saw themselves establishing a colony in the new world that would be a shining light of God’s redemption to the nations.
William Bradford, who was appointed governor of the new colony wrote, “Thus out of small beginnings, greater things have grown by His hand who made all things out of nothing, and gives being to all things that are; and as one small candle may light a thousand, so the light enkindled here has shown to many, yes, in a sense our whole nation; let the glorious name of Jehovah have all the praise.”
Cotton Mather wrote that William Bradford, was a person of study as well as action. He had mastered Latin and Greek but the Hebrew he most of all studied. Because he said, “he would see with his own eyes the ancient oracles of God in their native beauty.” He was also well skilled in history, in antiquity, in philosophy and theology. But the crown of all was his holy, prayerful, watchful and fruitful walk with God.”
There were 102 passengers aboard the Mayflower who survived the 65 days at sea. They arrived at Plymouth, Mass. on Dec. 26, 1620. Of this number, more than half died in the first winter due to sickness and inadequate provisions. Less than 50 pilgrims were left, and of that number, some were too old to have children. When you do the math, only a small handful of godly women gave birth to America. Miraculously, thirty years later, in 1650, thirty of the original colonists were still alive and they had 160 descendants living at that time.
The Mayflower Compact
Before they landed, the pilgrims wrote the Mayflower Compact which was their covenant they would live by as a colony. It was modeled on the covenant of their separatist congregation in England. It reads in part:
“In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord, King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland king, defender of the faith, etc., having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith, and honor of our king and country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia, do, by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the presence of God, and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politick, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the Colony unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.”
Whether one likes or not, the record is clear that the Pilgrims intended to establish America as a Christian democratic republic. They did not want a national Christian Church of America. They understood the wisdom of separating organizationally the government of the people from the religion of the people. They advocated freedom of religion not freedom from religion. They certainly did not have in mind separating God from the government. They wanted to separate church and state but not God and state. Unfortunately, America has lost its vision.
Our founding fathers stated that the American democracy was designed for a moral people and would not survive unless there was a moral consensus of the citizens. Born as a self-governing people under the moral laws of God, America now despises the laws of God that made us great. While America has been a great light to the nations, our light has gone out because we have abandoned our Judeo-Christian heritage.|
Everyday America flaunts its immorality in the face of God as if we dare Him to judge us. Many believe the Almighty has accepted our dare. What do you think?

Where is America in Bible Prophecy?

AMERICA IN PROPHECY PART 1

America is the greatest nation in the history of nations. America is the only superpower in the world. Our military, our economy, our form of government, our wealth and prosperity, with all its faults, far exceeds all the other nations in our world today and is the envy of every nation. If you don’t appreciate your blessings here I suggest you go live somewhere else for awhile and then come back. While oppressive nations build walls to keep their citizens in – America build walls to keep people out. Most of the people of the world would come to America if they could.
Yet when we read the prophecies in the Bible about the end times, we don’t find any mention of America. There is not even the vaguest reference to America in the Bible. As American people who love our country and enjoy living here, thinking that it will go on forever, we should ponder why America is not mentioned in all the great end-time events. What could this mean? The question that should concern all of is “Where is America in Bible Prophecy?” It is a sobering question.
General PropheciesSo where is America in Bible prophecy? Why is it that our nation, the greatest of all nations in all of history, and, what I believe to be the last Gentile superpower, is not mentioned specifically in Bible prophecy?
There are two types of prophecies in the Bible regarding nations. One is general prophecies and the other is specific prophecies. America is included in the general prophecies about the nations.
Whether we are Christians or Jews, we should take heed to the following words from Jesus recorded in Luke 21:24, “And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”
While America is home to about 6 million Jews, America is a Gentile nation. All Gentile nations, including America, have a life-cycle. They have a beginning, a time of development, and they have an end to their prominence. While only the Almighty knows the details, when Israel liberated Jerusalem in 1967, many believe this signaled the end of the times of the Gentiles. America, it seems, is the last great sovereign, superpower Gentile nation. Those of us who live in America love our country and are grateful to be Americans. But we must understand that as a Gentile nation, our days of glory and prominence will, in God’s time, come to an end.
There are numerous Scriptures that speak of the end of the nations. When the Bible says that God will destroy the nations, He doesn’t mean that all the people will die but that the empire will die. But at the end of days, the former empires of the nations will worship the One True God and His kingdom will rule over the earth. While Jews and Christians have theological differences, we both long for the day when the nations will acknowledge the One True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The prophet Isaiah gave the following word of assurance, Isaiah 2:1-4, “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (Isaiah 2:1-4).
An Everlasting Nation
Even though America as we know it today and the empires of all the Gentile nations will come to an end, there is one country that has a promise from God that it will last forever. That everlasting nation is Israel. Could it be that America is now reeling under the judgment of God because of its policy to divide and weaken Israel? Yes, the nations that seek to destroy Israel will themselves be destroyed but Israel lives forever—Am Yisrael Chai!
Jeremiah 46:28 reads, “Do not fear, O Jacob My servant, says the LORD, for I am with you; for I will make a complete end of all the nations to which I have driven you; but I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you, for I will not leave you wholly unpunished.”

The Crescent or the Cross?

Islam in America, Part 6

In his excellent booklet, The Shadow of the Crescent, Robert Peck explains that the first great influx of Muslims to the US happened during the times of African slave trade to America. The next major immigration of Muslims to the US came in the 1860s when large numbers of Muslims fled Syria and Lebanon to avoid military service in the Turkish army. In the 1940s another wave of immigrants came to the shores of the US to escape the civil war between Pakistan and India. Further immigration to the US came later when Muslims were fleeing political and economic troubles in Turkey.
According to Peck, most of the Muslims who were early migrants to the US were only marginally observant. They were cultural Muslims who could embrace our nation’s ideas and values. However, in the last thirty years, Muslim immigrants to the US are much more observant and idealistic in their beliefs and practices. They have a religious, evangelistic fervor to establish Islamic influence in America.
Peck explains that the Muslim population and influence in America is growing because of an increase in immigration, a high birth rate among Muslims, intermarriage of Muslim men with non-Muslim American women and conversion.
In his outstanding book, America Alone, Mark Steyn, reports the frightening birthrate statistics of European countries compared to Islamic nations. He says that for a nation to sustain itself, it must have a fertility rate of 2.1 live births per woman. He points out that any country that drops below this rate for an extended period of time will not survive. He then gives the following alarming birth statistics: America, 2.1; Canada, 1.48; Japan, 1.32; Russia, 1.14; Greece, 1.3; Spain 1.1; Italy, 1.2, and Europe as a whole 1.38. From these statistics, America is the only country “holding its own.” The only reason this is true is due to the high birthrate of illegal immigrants in America.
Mark Steyn goes on to observe that “much of what we loosely call the Western world will not survive the twenty-first century, and much of it will effectively disappear within our lifetimes, including many if not most European countries. Mark believes that Europe will be semi-Islamic in its politico-cultural character within a generation.
It doesn’t take a statistician to understand the significance of these facts. Christians and Jews must learn as much as possible about Islam and stand together against radical Islamic terrorists who want to destroy our way of life. Europe, including Britain, is already referred to as Eurabia. It is a post-Christian Europe. Unless there is a last minute cultural and spiritual awakening, Europe will fall internally to Islam.
Ron Peck asks the question, “Will the crescent replace the Cross in America?” Will America go the way of Europe? Will Christians and Jews in America awaken to this threat before it is too late or remain ignorant and indifferent? We live the good life in America. Why should we even care? I think the answer will be obvious when you understand the basic teachings and practices of Islam and the goal of radical Islamists to subject all nations to Islamic rule and law.
The information presented in these past six articles should certainly awaken Christians and Jews to the radical Islamic threat to America and our way of life. Only God knows if the American government and people will have the moral clarity and will to stand against this invasion. But one thing we can know for sure, the One True God of heaven does have the moral clarity and will to establish His kingdom on the earth. When all is said and done, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will execute judgment on His enemies. He will rule over the nations and His people with a righteous government that will bring peace to the earth.
As the Hebrew prophet said, “He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people, they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (Isaiah 2:4).

In his startling book, Inflitration, investigative journalist Paul Sperry, provides shocking facts about the radical Muslim agenda to destroy our way of life. He quotes Donald Lavey who is an FBI counterterrorism veteran who also served as counterterrorism chief for Interpol:
“Muslim subversives have managed to build an impressing infrastructure of support for the bad guys like al-Qaida terrorist. Muslim subversives have been working clandestinely to undermine America’s constitutional government and the Judeo-Christianity on which it was built. Their goal is to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Koran and turn America into an Islamic state. Their strategy is to exploit the very rights and freedoms they intend to banish, while counting on the ever-trusting American people to remain blind to their true intentions.”
Sperry says that radical Islamists have infiltrated every level of American life and cites the following alarming examples.
1. A senior White House official of Persian origin has been put in charge of government contracting and outsourcing, even though congressional lobbying records show he once lobbied on behalf of a Muslim activist who is now a confessed terrorist.
2. The same official prior to 9/11 lobbied Congress and federal agencies to make it harder for federal law enforcement to deport Middle Eastern immigrants with suspected terror links.
3. An Islamic activist obtained a sensitive intelligence post at the Department of Homeland Security even though he failed to disclose his past association with the same confessed terrorist.
4. In their rush to recruit Arabic translators after 9/11, both the FBI and the Pentagon cut corners on background checks and hired Muslim translators in spite of their ties to various foreign military and intelligence agencies in Syria, Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey. Of course the translators can tell the FBI anything they want and the FBI would not be the wiser. At the same time, none of the 60 Arab-speaking Jews who applied were accepted because the Muslims would not work with them.
5. Laptops with classified intelligence about al-Qaida investigations have gone missing from the translation unit in the Washington field office of the FBI.
6. The FBI hired the daughter of a former senior Pakistani intelligent officer to translate the intercepts of Pakistani targets. About 6 months later, a secret FBI code was compromised, falling into the hands of the Pakistani government.
7. A Muslim FBI agent refused to wear a wire to secretly record a Muslim target of counterterrorism investigation because he was a friend of the person being investigated.
8. A Palestinian activist, who sponsors an orphaned child of a Palestinian suicide bomber, has free access to the White House through Karl Rove, the President’s friend and political advisor.
9. President Bush struck a deal with Muslim-rights groups to avoid describing terrorism as “Islamic.”
10. CAIR (the Council of American-Islamic Relations) is considered one of the most respectable and influential mainstream Islamic organizations in America with an open door to Washington’s elite. Yet, it has donated money to known terrorist organizations and three of its former top officials have been arrested for terrorist-related activities.
11. CAIR receives large sums of money from Islamic groups in the Middle-East with ties to terrorists.
12. CAIR has successfully won more than two hundred cases against U.S. companies for alleged discrimination against Muslims.
13. A Muslim social studies teacher who was on the Saudi government payroll is educating your children about Islam in public schools through sugar-coated textbooks and role-playing exercises in which kids “pretend to be Muslims” for weeks. Furthermore, the Saudi’s are giving millions of dollars to schools to fund their pro-Muslim propaganda through textbooks, teachers, and professors and establishing pro-Islamic Studies Department in major universities.
14. Saudi Arabia is also financing, with money from Islamic radicals, thousands of synagogues around the country with an Islamic fundamentalist message.
15. A large influential Mosque in Washington D.C. was the “home synagogue” of two of the Saudi hijackers who attacked the Pentagon buildings. The Mosque is owned and controlled by Saudi Islamic fundamentalist. At least four of the leaders of the Mosque have now been investigated for terrorist ties.
16. There are an estimated 200,000 Muslim inmates in our prison system. Most are African-American converts, and many are eligible for parole. Their Islamic chaplains are preparing them for their new life of freedom as radical Muslims who hate white people and the white people’s Judeo-Christian racist religion that enslaves them.
17. Finally, U.S. intelligence tells us that al-Qaida has trained approximately 120,000 terrorist. Thank to our “open door policies” for immigrants and people who sneak across our borders, it is estimated that we have about 5,000 of these terrorists in the U.S.

In spite of some who want to revise American history, our country was founded by godly Christians fleeing Britain for the purpose of religious freedom. This is not just my opinion. Anyone can learn this by simply reading books by and about the Pilgrims and Puritans who came to America.
Of the many good books available, one of the most interesting is entitled, Of Plymouth Plantation published by The Vision Forum, San Antonio, Texas in association with Mantle Ministries, Bulverde, Texas. This fascinating book traces the history of the New Plymouth Settlement from its inception on British soil in 1608, to its sojourn in the Netherlands, and finally to its establishment on American shores. It is actually the diary of William Bradford’s history of the Plymouth Settlement from 1608-1650. Bradford served as governor of the new colony and faithfully recorded his first-hand account of life at Plymouth.
The founders of our country had a strong connection to the Hebrew Bible (what Christians call the Old Testament). They studied the Hebrew language and knew well the biblical Hebraic-Jewish roots of Christianity. They had a strong Judeo-Christian heritage. They came with a Bible in one hand and faith in the other hand.
I am grateful that our founding fathers brought religious freedom to America. But with all due respect to the first elected Muslim congressman from Minnesota, there was no Koran on the Mayflower. My point is that America was founded on the basis of a Judeo-Christian heritage. Historically Americans were raised with the Bible. Since there is nothing about Islam in the Bible, the American people know little or nothing about the life of Mohammed and the teachings of Islam. Let’s begin with some startling facts about the modern revival of Islam.
Islam on the Move
Islam is one of the world’s fastest-growing religions, gaining converts in every country through an aggressive missionary program. The worldwide Islamic population has now reached one billion. This means that one in every five persons is now a Muslim. Most Muslims are peaceful folk who just want to have a good life and raise their children to be normal, healthy human beings. But if only twenty percent are radical Islamists, that means that two hundred million Muslims would kill Jews and Christians if they had a chance.
The majority of the populations of eleven of the twenty-five, fastest-growing nations in the world are Muslim. It is even more frightening to realize that these predominately Muslim populations are growing at a staggering rate. The birthrate in Muslim countries is 42 per 1,000 compared to 13 per 1,000 in the West.
Islam dominates thirty-eight countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa and is spreading rapidly in the West. For example, in England, the birthplace of John Wesley, there are more Muslims than Methodists. There are thousands of Mosques in England and the number continues to grow. This is also true of every European country.
In the United States, Islam claims to be the fourth largest religion. Muslims are outnumbered only by Southern Baptist, Roman Catholics and those who practice Judaism. There are more Muslims in the United States than Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, etc. In the near future, there will be more Muslims than Jews in the United States. As one Muslim leader in the U.S. has said, “Most of our urban centers will be predominantly Muslim by 2020.” Think about that!
The number of Mosques being built in America is growing daily. Saudi money finances the building of these Mosques. The problem is not the building of Mosques because America has freedom of religion. The problem is that these Mosques represent the radical Wahhabi brand of Islam practiced by the founders of Saudi Arabia including Osama bin Ladin.
In addition, the Saudis give millions of dollars every year to American Universities to fund Islamic Studies Departments with the stipulation that the universities would hire Islamic professors to chair the department and teach the courses. Islamic professors at universities across America are teaching something other than a Judeo-Christian tradition and heritage to their students.
Our founding fathers were clear in their beliefs that our form of government would only work with moral citizens who make decisions based on Judeo-Christian values. We are a self-governing people. As our nation removes these values from public life, our beloved America will continue to crumble. The agenda of radical Islam is to hasten the day when America will not have the moral clarity and strength to stand against their onslaught on our culture. Our democracy will give way to anarchy unless the American people return to our Judeo-Christian heritage.

Islam is clearly on the move. It is no longer the desert religion of the Middle East. Its tentacles have reached around the globe in an effort to achieve world domination through territorial conquest and the complete submission of all people to Allah. The modern revival of Islam, fueled by unrestrained nationalistic fervor, has become the most powerful and dangerous force in our world. Yet, the Western world knows so little about Islam and finds it hard to believe what we do learn.
While there are numerous militant Islamic terrorist groups, they all want to impose their extremist’s views on the nations of the world. Since Israel lives in the tough neighborhood that is surrounded by states that sponsor and protect these terrorists, Israel has suffered the brunt of their hatred.
For the Islamic fundamentalists, all nations must be converted to Islam. Christians and Jews may, however, retain their faith as “People of the Book” on conditions they submit to Muslim sovereignty. The notion that Muslims must live under non-Muslim governments, as in Israel or the USA, is totally unacceptable to these people.
Peace-loving Arab Muslims (and Christians) who do not share the hatred against the West, and who refuse to cooperate with the militants, are also threatened. So it is essential for Americans and Christians and Jews to understand that while most terrorists are Muslims, not all Arab Muslims are terrorists. Most Arabs are normal people trying to live their lives in peace with their neighbors. I want to make it clear that this is not an anti-Arab Muslim book. The One True God loves everyone the same. But He does not love nor does He condone evil.
Some who are hostile to Jews and hostile to Israel try to justify the heinous terrorist attacks in the U.S. by citing American support for Israel. But we must remember, that militant Islamic hatred of America would occur regardless of whether Israel existed or not. Islamic hatred of Christians and Jews is as old as Mohammed himself.
Islamic Hatred of America and Israel
Radical Islamic terrorists hold extreme anti-Semitic and anti-Christian views and wish to see the outbreak of a religious war. They see themselves as the “revengers” for the Crusades, which happened a thousand years ago, and the restorers of Islamic pride.
Furthermore, they despise America and the West because of their deep, abiding resentment of America’s religious freedom, political plurality, equality of the sexes, and America’s economic superiority. They feel this puts them in an unacceptable position of inferiority, which they seek to change by violence.
This is why Muslim terrorists chant, “Today we fight the Saturday people (Jews), tomorrow the Sunday people (Christians). The fight against the Saturday people has been going on in Israel for decades. The fight against the Sunday people was revealed to the whole world on September 11, 2001.
The first American led coalition against Iraq, with Christian solders based in Saudi Arabia, was a humiliating defeat and setback for the militant Islamic groups. This inflamed their hatred of the “Christian West” led by America. Since the Gulf War, they have planned and successfully carried out attacks against American interests overseas. The last American led coalition to disarm Iraq has certainly caused more hatred against America.
With years of “sleeper” cells planted in America, militant Islamic terrorists now believe they can demoralize and destroy America from within, thus removing the greatest obstacle to their dream of world conquest. While it will be a long, difficult, and painful struggle against terrorism, the ancient words of the Hebrew prophets give certain hope and comfort for the future for those who have a Judeo-Christian heritage:
“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall come forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more” (Isaiah 2:2-4).
