Operation Life for Israel

Operation Life for Israel is helping preserve the sanctity of life in Israel by aiding child terror victims and Israel’s unborn.

TJCI offers Christian support to the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund (SICF). SICF is a rehabilitation center in Shiloh, Israel that helps heal the trauma of terrorism in the lives of innocent child victims who have lost loved ones or witnessed the horror of terrorism first-hand. Established by former Shiloh mayor David Rubin, SICF provides therapeutic, educational, and recreational projects for children in the Biblical heartland of Israel - particularly in the Shiloh bloc of communities where the children have suffered terribly from the terrorism of the past few years. Sadly, many have refused to support SICF because of its location in Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”), an area some see as being “occupied” rather than as land promised by covenant to the Jewish people.

Through Operation Life for Israel, we also support pro-life efforts in the Land. Traditionally, the pro-life movement in Israel has been very weak. As a result, Israel’s national average of abortions is up to 50,000 annually—almost 1,000 per week. The Jerusalem Connection’s pro-life partner organizations are emerging as the primary and most-forthright pro-life voices in Israel. Their efforts have seen thousands of women every year make informed decisions to keep their babies despite financial and social stress. The organizations provide all the primary needs of these mothers and their children, as well as a vital network of volunteers who provide social and moral support. Considering Israel’s demographic problems and the emphasis put on bringing Jews to Israel from abroad, it is critical not to forget the unborn Jewish children who are waiting to make their “inner Aliya.”
